Abstract

Artificial intelligence AI is gradually changing the mode of drug clinical trials and improving the efficiency and quality of trials. This study reviews the application of AI in clinical trials focusing on its practical value in three scenarios investigational product management quality control and archives management. In investigational product management AI can realize the whole-process intelligent control including real-time environmental monitoring early warning of equipment failure and inventory risks precise drug allocation optimization of medication regimens automated dispensing records and anomaly alerts as well as closed-loop management of drug return and destruction. In terms of quality control AI realizes real-time analysis and anomaly detection of trial data through machine learning optimizes subject matching and compliance management and reduces human errors through intelligent early warning systems so as to improve the reliability and standardization of trials. In archives management AI assists in the automated processing of massive trial documents improving the efficiency of information retrieval and data traceability. This study also discusses the challenges faced in AI application such as data quality privacy protection and ethical authorization aiming to provide references for the standardized and sustainable development of AI in the field of drug clinical trials and promoto a dynamic balance between technological innovation and ethical norms.
