Abstract: 【ABSTRACT】Objective: To explore the significance of the changes in the dynamic monitoring of cerebrospinal fluid adenosine deaminase(ADA)to assess TB meningitis disease outcomes.Methods:57 cases of patients with tuberculous meningitis were selected as the study subjects.The levels of ADA were detected by enzyme reagent,and the levels of ADA in patients with sepsis,good prognosis,poor prognosis and different treatment stages were compared.Results:ADA levels in complicated with severe sepsis patients were significantly higher than those in other unconsolidated and mild sepsis group and control group,the difference is statistically significant(P＜0.05).Admission always adenosine deaminase level was significantly higher than that of the 3,6,9 weeks the level of treatment,the difference is statistically significant(P＜0.05); the longer treatment time,the lower the levels of adenosine deaminase.Good prognosis group of adenosine deaminase level was significantly lower than that of the poor prognosis group,the patients in the two groups of adenosine deaminase level differences have statistical significance(P＜0.05).For the first time after six months showed a return visit recurrence occurred in 18 cases,39 cases without recurrence,recurrence of adenosine deamination The level of enzyme was significantly higher than that of the non relapse group,and the difference was not significant.The level of ADA was significantly decreased after the two treatment,and the recovery was normal,but the prognosis is still poor due to the initial treatment is not completely or drug resistant.Conclusion:Levels of cerebrospinal fluid adenosine deaminase(ADA)can be used as an important index to evaluate prognosis and quality of life of patients,the initial treatment is the lower the level of ADA in patients with disease of the light,the prognosis,the better the quality; recurrence patients,even after treatment of ADA decreased to normal range,generally the prognosis is still poor.Treatment should pay attention to the initial treatment effect,prevention of resistance,reduce the recurrence rate.
