Abstract: Objective： The problems existing in the traditional Chinese medicine prescription in a general hospital were analysised， which aimed to improve the quality of prescriptions and promote rational drug use. Methods： In 2018， 100 prescriptions of Chinese herbal pieces， and 100 prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine formula particles for our patients were randomly selected every month. The indicators of Prescription Evaluation Form were used to comment the prescriptions to identify the main problems. Results： In the commented 2 400 traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions， 176 prescriptions were unqualified (failure rate was 7.3%).Among unqualified prescriptions， non-standard prescriptions accounted for 84.09%， inappropriate prescriptions accounted for 8.52%， extraordinary prescriptions accounted for 7.39%. Conclusion： Through the prescription review， many problems of traditional Chinese medicine unreasonable prescriptions in the hospital were found. Management should be strengthened， and the unreasonable prescriptions should be actively intervened to improve the quality of prescriptions and effectively improve the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine prescription writing and the rationality of medication， and to ensure medication.
