Abstract: Objective： To explore in the training model of professional degree postgraduate in otorhinolaryngology， head and neck surgery， so as to provide reference on establishing a scientific professional degree postgraduate training system for otorhinolaryngology，head and neck surgery.Methods：First of all， postgraduate students of otorhinolaryngology，head and neck surgery were enrolled in a one-month Pre-job training. Then the postgraduate clinical training time was 33 months， of which the relevant department rotation time was 6 months，and the sub-specialist rotation time of otorhinolaryngology，head and neck surgery was 27 months.During the postgraduate period， students needed to take the qualification examination for practicing doctors and obtain the qualification certificate for practicing doctors (within 2 years).In the year of graduation，students participated in the standardization training for residents， and passed the examination to obtain the standardized training certificate for residents.Finally， students needed to complete graduation exams and dissertation defenses to obtain diplomas and degree certificates.Results：Through systematic clinical practice training， the postgraduate students of otorhinolaryngology， head and neck surgery had a basic understanding of the rotation department， and they could master the basic theories， basic knowledge，and basic skills of Otolaryngology. They could complete the otorhinolaryngology， head and neck surgery medical work independently.They were proficient in the anatomy of the ear， nose， throat and neck， and could complete the common surgical operation independently. They had a certain professional scientific research ability. Conclusion：A prodessional degree postgraduate training system for otorhinolaryngology，head and neck surgery with clear objectives，clear path，complete structure and guarantee in place has taken shape. However， it still needs a lot of effort to finally develop an excellent professional degree postgraduate training system in otolaryngology， head and neck surgery，so as to meet the need of society.
