Abstract: Objective：To observe the effect of somatostatin and Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection on the prognosis of hyperlipidemic severe acute pancreatitis（HL-SAP） patients. Methods： 80 patients with HL-SAP were enrolled from January 2011 to March 2017， and were randomly divided into treatment group (somatostatin combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection) and control group (somatostatin)，each group had 40 cases. Clinical symptoms (abdominal pain disappeared time and the first time of the anus exhaust)， biochemical indicators (blood amylase， blood calcium returned to normal time)， blood viscosity index (blood triglycerides，whole blood high shear viscosity value and whole blood low shear viscosity value)，vascular endothelial cell synthesis factor [Plasma NO and endothelin-1(ET-1) levels] were compared. Results： 　Abdominal pain disappeared time， the first time of the anus exhaust， blood amylase and blood calcium returned to normal time of the treatment group were respectively （2.96±1.53）， （4.72±1.58）， （5.28±1.09） and （5.45±1.31）， which were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum TG， total blood high shear viscosity， whole blood low shear viscosity，blood NO and blood ET-1 were respectively （6.58±1.78）， （5.66±0.72）， （10.54±0.98）， （77.19±15.89）， （90.79±21.08） which were better than those of the control gorup. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion： Somatostatin combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection can reduce blood viscosity and protect the endothelial cell function， improve the prognosis of patients with HL-SAP.
