Abstract: Objective： By the method of visual analysis，This study analyzed and summarized the relevant literature on natural language processing published in foreign languages in order to provide reference and assistance for researchers in the field to carry out related research. Methods：The PubMed was mainly searched. The BICOMS-2 analysis software was used to extract and collate the main information， and a co-occurrence matrix was generated. The network diagram was drawn using NetDraw software， and the Cluster analysis using gCLUTO software. Results：Nineteen countries participated in the publication of foreign language research on natural language processing. However， there was an imbalance between regions， and mainly in Europe and the United States. A total of 349 journals published relevant researches， but the publications were not evenly distributed among journals. There were certain links between the authors， but the cooperation was not close enough. There were mainly three research topices. Conclusion：The number of foreign language researches in natural language processing has gradually declined since 2015， and the research popularity needs to be improved. There is an imbalance in the amount of articles issued by participating authors and countries， and the number of high-yield writers focusing on this field is relatively small. Exchanges between countries need to be further increased and the subject of research needs to be further expanded.
