Abstract: Objective： To provide reference for the rational use of set prescription preparation containing Pinellia ternata and its processed products. Methods： The inclusion of set prescription preparations containing Pinellia ternata and its processed products in the 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacogeia Guidelines for Clinical Drug Use(hereinafter referred to as Guideline For Clinical Drug Use) (TCM prescription preparation volume) were summarized and analyzed. Results： In the 2015 edition of Guideline For Clinical Drug Use， totally 98 kinds of prescription preparations containing Pinellia ternata and its processed products are included， among which 81， 2， 11， 1 and 3 kinds are for internal medicine， gynecology， pediatrics， pharyngology and orthopedics respectively. There are 8， 42 and 48 kinds of prescription preparations using Pinellia ternate as monarch medicine， minister medicine and adjuvant medicine respectively. Classified by dosage form， there are 84 kinds of solid preparations and 14 kinds of liquid preparation. Prescription preparations containing raw Pinellia ternata are 13 kinds， prescription preparations containing processed Pinellia ternate are 30 kinds， and prescription preparations containing alum processed Pinellia， ginger processed Pinellia， processed Pinellia tuber， and fermented Pinellia， are 9， 12， 33， and 1 kinds respectively. Conclusion： After summarizing and analyzing the efficacy and application of Pinellia ternata and its processed products， it was found that applications and labelings of Pinellia ternata and its processed products were not uniform. To provide a more accurate theoretical guidance for rational drug use， research on processing standards for toxic drugs and attenuated mechanism should be strengthened.
