Abstract: The elderly are prone to hip fractures. At present， in clinical practice， internal fixation after open or closed reduction， and hip replacement are often used as treatment options. However， the physical functioning of the elderly is declining and often combined with various chronic diseases and postoperative complications are prone to occur. Therefore， how to prevent and treat diseases during the diagnosis and treatment， prevent and treat postoperative complications， and speed up the rehabilitation has become an urgent problem. Pingle bone-setting is one of the most influential orthopedic genres in China. Syndrome differentiation treatment is one of the guiding principles for the clinical application of the Pingle bone-setting concept in fractures treatment. According to the characteristics of the fracture， Pingle bone-setting use syndrome differentiation medication in three stages， that is， the first stage is suitable for “po xue”， the intermediate stage is suitable for “he xue”， and the final stage is suitable for “bu xue”. This article analyzes the application of Pingle bone-setting syndrome differentiation medication in the perioperative period of hip fractures in the elderly， in order to explore the rules and characteristics of Pingle bone-setting syndrome differentiation medication， and provide new clinical diagnosis and treatment ideas for orthopedics.
