Abstract: Objective： To explore the effect of quality control circle(QCC) on improving pharmacy quality management after applying to the practice of pharmacy quality management in hospital. Methods： The effectiveness of the QCC activities in Outpatient Pharmacy， Intravenous Preparation Center， and Emergency Pharmacy of our hospital were analyzed retrospectively， and the changes in the quality management indicators of the pharmacy and the capabilities of the circle members before and after implementation were compared. Results： After the implementation of QCC， the error rate of similar drug adjustments decreased from 0.37% to 0.09%， the drug dispensing error rate decreased from 1.12 ‰ to 0.35 ‰， and the emergency prescription eligibility rate increased from 89.70% to 98.50%. The sense of responsibility， problem-solving ability， application of QCC techniques，and communication and coordination ability of team circle members have all improved significantly. Conclusion：Hospital pharmacy quality management and staff capabilities can be effectively improved through the implementation of QCC， which worth promotion and application in pharmacy.
