Abstract: Urinary incontinence is one of the common manifestations of dysuria after stroke. According to statistics from foreign studies, the incidence of urinary incontinence after stroke is 28%-79%. In addition, the risk factors of post-stroke incontinence are closely related to age, gender and lesion site. The patient is the elder the dysfunction was worse, the higher probability and severity of incontinence.Persistent urinary incontinence also has a negative impact on the prognosis after stroke. Therefore, this paper summarized the research progress of post-stroke incontinence in recent years from the aspects of epidemiology and risk factors, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment and western medicine treatment, and on this basis, summarized the current problems in the treatment of post-stroke incontinence.
