Abstract: Objective: To provide reference for strengthening the connection management of the registration and continuing education of licensed pharmacists. Methods:Through analyzing the current status of the connection management of the registration and continuing education of licensed pharmacists, the existing problems were found out and related suggestions were proposed.Results: At present, the management standards of the continuing education of licensed pharmacists vary from place to place, and the level of continuing education is uneven.There is the phenomenon of rushing into the training course right before registration to obtain credits. Post-registration supervision and continuing education management on licensed pharmacists have not yet been connected. Conclusion:Relevant management departments of licensed pharmacists can carry out targeted continuing education to licensed pharmacists based on job competency standards. Those who have not completed continuing education through a long period of time should undergo systematic training before registering, and those who violate laws and regulations in practice should strengthen continuing education and training before re-registration. The strengthening of the registration and continuing education management on licensed pharmacists will effectively promote and guarantee the overall quality of the licensed pharmacist team, give full play to their professional value and role, and ensure medication safety for the public.
