Abstract: Refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common disease of the digestive system and is difficult to cure. Professor Zhang Minguang has been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases for a long time， and has rich experience and unique insights in the diagnosis and treatment of spleen and stomach disease. Professor Zhang advocates treating the disease from its etiology and pathogenesis. He believes that the disease is mainly caused by stasis and heat and it is often combined with deficiency of spleen and stomach， stagnated heat of liver and stomach， blood stasis and collaterals obstruction， and uses the treating methods of acrid opening and bitter downbearing， promoting blood circulation and purging heat， inhibiting gastric acid and protecting the gastric mucosa， regulating the five Zang-organs， which have obtained good clinical effects. This article introduces the experience of professor Zhang Yuguang in treating refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
