Abstract: Objective： To evaluate and analyze the teaching effect of “ideological and political education in the courses” in the field of medicine and health， and explore the practice of ideological and political education of medical students， to provide reference for carrying out curriculum ideological and political teaching reform. Methods： The CNKI， Wanfang and CBM databases were searched to obtain studies on ideological and political education in the courses. The EndNote software was used to de-duplicate and select， and Excel and VOSviewer were used to draw graphs. Results： Questionnaire survey method is the most common method to evaluate the teaching effect of “ideological and political education in the courses”. The second most common method is the combination of “three methods”， which is questionnaire survey + formative evaluation + summative evaluation. Conclusion： The assessment standards and evaluation systems of ideological and political education in the courses need to be further improved. It is difficult for a single summative evaluation or questionnaire survey to fully reflect the effects of ideological and political education in the courses. It is urgent to explore an effect evaluation system which combines multi-dimensional qualitative and quantitative method， short term and long term evaluation， and the evaluation of both teachers and students.
