Abstract: Objective：To explore the clinical effect of tongue three acupuncture combined with oral acupuncture on speech disorder in children with autism spectrum disorder.Methods：Fifty-eight children with autism spectrum disorder and speech disorder in our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group， 29 cases in each group. The control group was given speech training， ABA training， head acupuncture and viscera massage. The observation group was additionally treated with tongue three acupuncture and oral acupuncture on the basis of the control group. The treatment course was 6 months， and the curative effect was observed once every 3 months. ABC scale， CARS scale and ATEC scale were used to evaluate the changes of speech development， personal social interaction and cognitive understanding in the two groups before and after treatment. Results：The scores of CARS scale and ABC scale in the middle period (3 months) and after treatment (6 months) were lower than those before treatment (P<0.01). Compared with the control group， the score of CARS scale in the observation group decreased more significantly at 3 and 6 months of treatment (P<0.01)， and the score of ABC scale in the observation group improved more significantly (P<0.01). After 6 months of treatment， the individual score and total score of ATEC in both groups were lower than before treatment (P<0.01 or P<0.05)， and the degree of reduction of the score in the observation group was greater than that in the control group (P<0.01). From the perspective of the total effective rate， the effective rate of the observation group was 89.66%， which was more than that of the control group (68.97%)(P<0.05). Conclusion：Tongue three acupuncture combined with perioral acupoint massage can improve the speech development， cognitive understanding and personal social interaction of children with autism spectrum disorder.
