Abstract: Lianpo Yin， originated from Treatise on Cholera written by Wang Mengying (a famous medical master in the Qing Dynasty)， is a common prescription for the treatment of damp-heat cholera， which has the effects of clearing heat and dampness， regulating qi and harmonize the middle energizer.According to the climatic conditions， geographical characteristics and dietary habits of Hunan region，professor Peng Xiaoping believes that damp-heat is the key to the pathogenesis of early atherosclerosis， According to the ideological guidance of "treating the same disease with different methods， homotherapy for heteropathy"， he appllied Lianpu Yin to treat damp-heat atherosclerotic plaqueto reduce the risk of adverse cardiovascular events， which was quite effective.This paper introduces the clinical experience of professor Peng Xiaoping in treating damp-heat atherosclerotic plaque with Lian Pu Yin，with a view to providing reference for the treatment of atherosclerotic plaques by traditional Chinese Medicine
