Abstract: Objective： To investigate the use of antibacterial agents in the respiratory department in our hospital and provide basis for the rational use of antibacterial agents. Methods： A total of 600 patients in the respiratory department of our hospital from June to December 2019 were randomly selected， and the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed， including gender， age， diagnosis， drug type， drug specification， dosage and administration， course of medication， and combination medication， etc. Results： Among the 600 patients， 32 antibacterial drugs were applied， 506 patients were treated with antibacterial drugs， and the utilization rate of antibacterial drugs reached 84.33%. The antibacterial drug with the highest frequency of use was penicillins， and the most common drug combination was levofloxacin injection and penicillins. The dual therapy was 36.9%， triple therapy was 11.7%， quadruple therapy was 1.2%， and the rate of pathogenic examination was 62.8%. Conclusion： The use of antibacterial drugs in the respiratory department of our hospital is basically reasonable， but there are some unreasonable uses such as drug combination use， dosage and frequency of administration. The management should be strengthened to promote the safe， effective and reasonable clinical application of antimicrobial drugs.
