Abstract: Objective：Taking the interventional therapy of acute myocardial infarction as an example， to analyze the strengths， weaknesses， opportunities and challenges of implementing big data diagnosis-intervention packet (DIP) payment in medical institutions，and then put forward the corresponding development strategies，in order to provide ideas for further improving the payment method of DIP.Methods：STOW analysis model was used to evaluate comprehensively from 4 aspects： strengths， weaknesses， opportunities and challenges. Results：In terms of strengths analysis， the cost of drugs and consumables was decreased， the proportion of medical income was increased， the medical insurance payment was decreased， and the proportion of patients′ reimbursement was increased. In terms of weaknesses analysis， the price of consumables strengths analysis was decreased，supply of suppliers was insufficient， and medical institutions were prone to irregular diagnosis and treatment.In terms of opportunity analysis，DIP payment method provides guarantee for interventional therapy of myocardial infarction， and provides reference experience for the exploration in pilot areas.In terms of threat analysis， the information system needs to be further intelligent and unified， and the accuracy rate of medical record front page coding need to be strengthened.Conclusion：In essence， DIP payment is to ensure the effective implementation of the basic medical insurance system， and to rationally allocate and use medical insurance funds while meeting the medical needs of patients. Medical institutions should rely on internal advantages， take advantage of external opportunities， overcome their own shortcomings and avoid external threats，optimize the use of medical insurance funds to promote the healthy and orderly development of medical institutions.
