Abstract: Objective： To analyze the policy texts and current research status of journal literature on the construction of professional and specialized team of drug inspectors in China， and summarize the research hotspots and trends， in order to provide reference for strengthening the construction of professional team of drug inspectors. Methods： Retrieve national policy texts and journal documents using “professional and specialized drug inspector” as the keyword. Using the methods of policy text analysis， literature content research， and bibliometric analysis， to interpret and analyze the current research status of the construction of profesional and specialized team of drug inspectors， and find out the hotspots and trends of researches in this field. Results： A total of 12 policy texts and 46 published papers were included. Before 2017， there were few published literatures and then there was a steady growth trend. The literatuers were published in 22 journals， with 119 authors from 32 units distributed in 20 provinces， municipalities(autonomous regions)， and 111 keywords were noted in the literatures. The research topics mainly include inspection institution construction， system and institutional construction， education and training， hierarchical and classified management， capacity building and evaluation， drug regulatory reform， technical professional titles， etc. Conclusion： The research on the construction of professional and specialized team of drug inspectors has received continuous attention. In recent years， the research hotspots focus on 5 aspects， including the construction and operation of supervision institution， the construction and operation of systems and institutions， the education and training of inspectors， and their ability and quality evaluation. The research trend focuses on improving the specialization level of inspectors and enhancing the professionalism degree of the drug inspector team.
