Abstract: Objective： To provide reference for strengthening the registration management of licensed pharmacists and giving full play to their role. Methods： Exploring the implementation significance of the licensed pharmacist registration system and the reasons for the low registration rate， and put forward suggestions. Results： The reasons for the low registration rate were the lack of clear regulations at the legal level led to the failure to fully implement the registration system， weak practice supervision and punishment， lack of supporting policies for the provision of licensed pharmacists， lack of supporting systems for registration management. Conclusion： It′s suggested that the registration management requirements should be clarified by formulating the law on licensed pharmacists， cancel the association between the registration behavior and the work unit； strengthen the post-registration supervision of licensed pharmacists， standardize the practice behavior， pilot the multi-site practice and concurrent post of licensed pharmacists， and take multiple measures to activate the resources of licensed pharmacists and give full play to the role of licensed pharmacists to protect drug safety for the public.
