Abstract: Objective：To realize the integration of medical consumable materials system and price charging system by UDI， to solve the problem of Information Island in hospital information system， and to speed up the fine management and standardized charging of medical consumable materials. Methods： The B/S framework systems of medical consumables management and price management were connected with HIS system by Nginx and UDI. Results： The information integration system based on the unique code of medical consumables can promote the whole process management of medical consumables in hospital， and ensure the accuracy of medical consumables charging. Conclusion： The realization of the whole process management of medical consumables by UDI requires not only the attention of medical institutions to the price and charge of medical consumables and the supervision of the whole process management of medical consumables， but also the policy support of relevant government departments. Supporting measures should be taken to ensure the logic consistency and uniqueness of UDI codes， realize the connection between UDI codes and other platforms such as medical insurance codes， and especially promote the full coverage of UDI codes for chargeable medical consumables.
