Abstract: Under the previous food and drug regulatory system， the handling methods for complaint and reporting have not been clearly defined， therefore， the country has not made specific requirements on whether the food and drug supervision complaint and report handling department should conduct administrative mediation during the complaint and report handling process. After the institutional reform， the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration issued the “Interim Measures for Handling Complaints and Reports in Market Supervision and Administration”， which clearly distinguishes between complaints and reports in the field of market supervision. This also provides a basis for complaints related to market supervision to be handled through administrative mediation. Administrative mediation， as a method for national administrative agencies to handle civil disputes between equal subjects， has gradually been applied by drug complaint and reporting handling departments at all levels. This study describes the current situation and related problems of administrative mediation in the field of drug regulatory complaints in our province， and proposes suggestions on how to improve the level of administrative mediation of drug supervision complaints in the next step. The aim is to provide reference for the application of administrative mediation in handling drug supervision complaints.
