Abstract: The COVID-19 epidemic in China is now basically under control， but as the epidemic spreads around the world， China still faces huge risks of imported COVID-19 from abroad.Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has played a huge role in the prevention and control of the epidemic in China. The rate of patients receiving TCM treatment turning into severe cases has been greatly reduced， and many parts of the country are also actively carrying out TCM prevention work. According to the nature of the epidemic， in combination of Heze local climate characteristics and living habits， our hospital developed Huazhuo Jiedu Mixture (Pogostemon cablin， Atractylodes， Eupatorium，Acorus tatarinowii， Angelica dahurica， Amomum tsao-ko， Artemisia argyi， Forsythia suspensa， Scutellaria baicalensis， Paeonia suffruticosa， Cyrtomium fortunei，Mentha haplocalyx) to prevent COVID-19， which is applicable to cold darnpness constitution， at the same time can be used to prevent and control ordinary pneumonia， influenza， the gastrointestinal type cold， vomiging and diarrhaea after drinking， and other respiratory tract， enteron diseases and obesity. This paper discusses the theoretical origin， prescription analysis， current situation of COVID-19 treatment， modern pharmacological mechanism and other aspects of Huazhuo Jiedu Mixture， in order to provide some enlightenment for future clinical treatment， drug development and basic medical research.
