Abstract: Objective： Through the investigation and analysis of the status quo of licensed pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians in pharmaceutical retail enterprises in Jiangxi province， to provide support for continuously improving the licensed pharmacist system and strengthening the policy research on the deployment and use of licensed pharmacists. Methods： By the method of questionnaire surveys， seminars and field investigations， the distribution status of licensed pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians in some cities and counties in Jiangxi province were investigated and analyzed. Results： Through investigation and analysis， it is found that on the basis of strengthening the management of licensed pharmacists and promoting the development of licensed pharmacist teams， the sources of prescriptions in retail pharmacies is few， remote review of prescriptions is a mere formality， the number of licensed pharmacists is insufficient， and the role of licensed pharmacists is limited， which restrict licensed pharmacists to play the role.Conclusion： The "three medical linkage" should be promoted for the flow of prescriptions to retail pharmacies. Standards for remote prescriptions review and pharmaceutical care should be formulated to strengthen drug use management. In combination with practical measures to develop the team of licensed pharmacists， and clarify responsibilities and give full play to the role of licensed pharmacists.
