Abstract: Objective：To analyze and study the status quo of continuing education for licensed pharmacists， and provide reference for strengthening the continuing education of licensed pharmacists.Methods：The work of continuing education for licensed pharmacists of 31 drug administrations in 2021 were investigated. The basic information of continuing education management institutions， teaching institutions， credit granting， training forms， etc were colcected. The existing problems in the continuing education for licensed pharmacists were analyzed， and the countermeasures were proposed.Results: Different regulatory bodies in different province， the competition and exit mechanism of educational institutions have not been established.The credit award of continving education needs to be futher standardized, and the traing form is relatively singce. Conclusion：The regulatory department shall formulate and improve the related system on continving education for license pharmacists, establish selection criteria and introduce a competition mechanism, strengthen teaching management and improve training quality, strictly supervise and inspect， and comprehensively strengthen management， so as to lay the foundation for ensuring the rights and interests of licensed pharmacists in continuing education and continuously improving the ability and quality of licensed pharmacists.
