Abstract: Objective： To explore the job stress and psychological status among medical staffs of frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns during the epidemic of COVID-19. Methods： A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate the stress and psychological status of 67 medical staffs of frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns during the epidemic of COVID-19. Results： 89.6% of medical staffs of frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns felt the danger of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2（SARS-CoV-2）； 95.5% of medical staffs of frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns felt greater job stress than usual； 85.1% of medical staffs of the frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns have strong feeling about COVID-19， and women are stronger than men (P<0.05). Most medical staffs have a better sense of social support. Conclusion： Medical staffs of frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns felt greater job stress than usual during the epidemic of COVID-19. Social support should be strengthened and mental health of medical staffs in frontline epidemic prevention in villages and towns should be improved， especially female medical staffs.
